Spellings 2/10/2020

Good Afternoon

Here are the Year 4 spellings for the week coming. Children will be tested next Friday (9/10/20). Please practise the spellings at home regularly over the week – we will also be practising them in the classroom.

misplace

Some children may be given individual spellings to learn in place of these. They will be tested individually on Friday.

If your child is confident with their spellings, they could use them to write sentence. Can they use both homophones in the same sentence?

Thank you

School Dinners Important Update

From Monday 12th October 2020, we will once again be offering a daily hot dinner as part of our available lunch options.

The menu will be the same as communicated out on 1st April (copy attached) the only difference will be that pupils will have their lunches pre-boxed for them to eat in the classrooms, unless they eat lunch in the hall in which case they will be served through the kitchen servery as normal.

Parents will be able to pre-order a sandwich via the order forms that have previously been used (copy also attached). Orders must be placed the week before they are required due to catering orders therefore we encourage parents to go through the menu with their child to ensure they are aware of the hot options available each week and order sandwiches accordingly. The menu is on a 3 week rota and changes each week, so you will need to take that into consideration if ordering sandwiches.

School meals are free (Universal Free) for Reception to year 2, Free School Meal Children remain the same, and all other meals are chargeable at £2.35 each. Chargeable meal accounts do need to be kept in credit via the Telford and Wrekin Website. If you require your child’s login details please email school on a2190@taw.org.uk.

As always, thank you for your attention and co-operation.
