School Council

After listening to some very well-presented speeches, Year 5 have voted for their new school councillors. Many congratulations to Noah and Imogen in Base 11 and Finlay and Reema in Base 12.

Please can you ensure that your child comes to school in correct PE kit on a Tuesday and Friday. Plain tshirt or school logo tshirt and joggers or shorts.

Our PE days will be as follows:

Indoor – Tuesday (alternate weeks for each base)

Outdoor – Friday

Please can children come to school in their school PE kit on those days.

Summer Reading Challenge

The Summer Reading Challenge is here again and this year’s theme is ‘Wild World Heroes’.

Sign up at your local library, collect a poster and then read 6 books during the summer holiday. You will receive stickers for each book read and on completion, you will be rewarded with a certificate and medal.

Bring your certificate back into school by the 17th September for an additional 15 house points!

Climate Change

Base 12 have taken part in a ‘climate change’ research project. They have researched different aspects of climate change and then voted on the areas that they feel the council should focus on. They had some fantastic knowledge already and used brilliant ‘Team Ant’ skills to share their ideas. Well done base 12!
