Early Help and support
Early Help is what our school can offer to help you and your family. There are many reasons why a family may benefit from Early Help support -we are not here to judge you or tell you what to do. Early Help means taking action to support a child or their family as soon
as a problem emerges. It can be required at any stage in life, from pre-birth to adulthood, and applies to any problem or need that the family can’t deal with alone. Please look at our Early Help leaflet and speak to a member of our Inclusion team if you feel you need support for your child and family.

We are also able to offer support if you have concerns regarding attendance. Please speak with a member of the leadership team, our EWO, Rebecca Giles or Mrs Mumford (Pastoral Lead).
There are also some links below where you may also be able to access support.

PEGS – Parental Education Growth Support
Supporting parents and professionals with child to parent abuse
Child to Parent Abuse is complex and misunderstood – partly because it has historically been largely ignored in favour of a focus on intimate partner abuse, partly because it is drastically under-reported, and partly because there are lots of misconceptions around the subject.
Some parents may not recognise what is happening to them as abuse – but the behaviours they are experiencing are abuse, and they are not okay.

ELSA
ELSA stands for Emotional Literacy Support Assistant. We are a team within school who will help children to learn and understand their emotions and respect the feelings of those round them. We provide the time and space for them to think about their personal circumstances and how to deal with them. Giving them the ability to engage with learning whilst facing life challenges that may detract from that.
