Headteacher’s Message
Congratulations to all of our Key Stage 2 children who have been voted into roles of responsibility this term. We have our new school council, safeguarding squad and House captains who are acting as role models and sharing pupil voice activities to contribute ideas and important messages to help to prepare our children for life in modern Britain. Jasmine and Riley from the school council will also have opportunity to be a part of the Reach2 pupil parliament, and share ideas across our cluster one schools. Mr Yardley, Mrs Williams and I look forward to working with these groups over the next year.
Well done to everyone who has received a Headteacher Award this week, I am very proud of you all:

School Council 2024-25
Key Stage 2 have now all had the chance to nominate themselves for school council this year. Many wonderful speeches were prepared and given and the classes have voted. Each key stage 2 class now has 2 school council representatives for this academic year. Our new school council are now proudly wearing their new school council badges and are due to have their first official meeting next week. Very well done to everyone who put themselves forward for school council and congratulations to the children who were voted in.
Year 1 Forest School 19.09.24
Year 1 had a fantastic time learning about their senses in Forest School today. They had great fun doing the sensory walk and all the children could talk about what they could hear, see and feel.
Year 5 Violin – 19.9.24
On Thursday, Year 5 started their Music lessons, which are being taught by the Shropshire Music Service this term.
Everyone loved getting to learn about the different parts of the violin, holding it correctly and we even had a go at playing a tune by plucking the strings.
We can’t wait for next week!

Appointments During The School Day (20/09/2024)
Please can we ask that all doctors, dental and opticians appointments be made outside of school hours. If you do need to take your child out of school for an appointment, the office staff will need to see a copy of the appointment card or a text message prior to the appointment.
