Message from the Headteacher 17/11/2023

We have celebrated Friendship all through the week.  The Safeguarding Squad delivered a very informative assembly about anti bullying on Monday morning, we have talked about kindness, healthy and unhealthy friendships, KS2 sang beautifully when learning the song, ‘You’ve got a friend in me’ with Mr Yardley in singing assembly and we have ended the week, thinking about others with our brilliant efforts doing ‘bear’pees and collecting donations for Children in Need.  Thank you for supporting our Children in Need efforts with your contributions.

Friendship Week

It’s friendship week here at Apley and what better way to start out week than having our very own Safeguarding Squad talking to us all about how we can prevent Bullying!

The team delivered the assembly to the whole school and gave across some very important messages such as how to help someone if they think they are being bullied, who the children can go to if they are worried and need to talk and how ‘Banter’ can turn into Bullying.

Well Done Safeguarding Squad!
