Headteacher’s Message

We have finally completed the work on our playground, and now have our new boiler ready for the winter and the new canopy to offer some shade for when the sun comes out again. Please do not allow your children to climb on the posts for the new canopy when they are waiting to come into school in the morning, we really do appreciate your support with this.

Our annual parent survey has opened today.  Please complete the link or scan the QR code on the letter we have sent out.  We do value your feedback.

Congratulations to everyone who has received a Headteacher’s award today:

Atom Learning – Online learning platform available to children who are eligible for Pupil Premium (14.06.2024)

Haberdashers’ Adams have partnered with Atom Learning (https://atomlearning.com/ ) an online learning platform, to offer a free subscription to all children who are eligible for pupil premium across Telford & Wrekin (usual cost £575 per yr). The platform creates a tailor-made programme that adapts to each child’s current attainment level and covers KS2 content across maths, science and English including SAT’s preparation and 11+ material for pupils who wish to take the grammar school entrance test. However they have would like to stress that the programme is designed to benefit all children, whatever their current attainment level and regardless of whether they are planning to apply to Haberdashers’ Adams, and they hope it will be a useful offer for your pupils and families.

To register, parents/carers need to fill out the form here – https://atomlearning.com/pupil-premium/adamsgs – and your school will then get an email to verify that the child is eligible for pupil premium before their account is activated.

The Art Of Brilliance have released an interesting and informative blog all about Screen time.

It outlines some of the wonderful things we can do with screen time but also some of the realities and how it can affect us.

The tagline for this blog is one we could all take a moment to consider – When does the fun stop?

Check out their latest blog on screen time here:
