Base 3 have thoroughly enjoyed their tennis session with Tim from the Tennis Centre, this afternoon. Thank you to Miss Cassidy for organising it. Wimbledon here we come!

Teamwork makes the dream work!

After a Character Education lesson about working together and cooperation, the children in Base 3 took it upon themselves to organise a whole class game of ‘Chicken or Hero’ during their afternoon playtime. It was lovely to see!

Shape fun!

The best way to learn about 3D shapes it to explore them and use clixi to build them. This is what children in Base 3 did this week. It was great fun!

Base 3 Parent Lunch

Base 3 thoroughly enjoyed their parent lunch yesterday. They were excited and eager to show their grown-ups what they had been learning about in History, Science and Maths. Thank you for coming everyone!

Chester Zoo Visit

Year 2 had a fantastic day at Chester Zoo today. They had chance to see a range of animals that they had been learning about which was great fun! They were a credit to the school, with members of the public commenting on how well behaved they were! We are very proud – well done everyone!

Year 2 Trip – Chester Zoo on Wednesday 11th December

Children will need to wear uniform, sensible walking shoes & a warm waterproof coat. They need a packed lunch, unless one has been ordered from school & a rucksack with their water bottles. Any travel sickness worries, please let teachers know in the morning.

Thank you,

Miss Gilbert and Mrs Williams
