Today your child will bring home a sheet containing the Year 1 common exception words. These are words that all children should be able to read and spell by the end of Year 1. Please support your child to spell these words, as they will be tested on a selection of them on Friday 3rd March.

In addition to this, children will bring home a sheet of phonics words to practise reading in preparation for the phonics check which will be taking place in June.
