Y5/6 Cricket team

The Y5/6 cricket team competed in a Telford and Wrekin competition with 20 schools competing. Apley won 2 of their games, drew 1 and lost 1. Apley reached the knockouts losing 68 runs to 54. We scored an impressive 300 runs throughout the tournament and finished 8th Overall out of 20. Well Done !

Yr5/6 Tag rugby team

Our Yr5/6s participated in the Telford and Wrekin Tag rugby championships and showed fantastic teamwork. They proudly won two of their games and scored an amazing 23 tries! Unfortunately they narrowly lost in the Quarter Finals 5-3 but had a brilliant time. Well done team!

Yr5/6 Boccia Champions 2021

Yr5/6 Boccia Team Participated in the Telford and Wrekin Boccia Championships against schools around Telford. Apley Wood Showed great teamwork and attitude to progress into the final against Lilleshall primary school which ended up 5-2 to Apley wood.

Yr5/6 Girls finished their league Campaign unbeaten with a 3-0 win against St Lawrence and will progress into the knockout stages.

Our Yr3/4 Mixed Cricket Team Competed in the Telford and Wrekin indoor Cricket Competition, playing 5 games winning 4 and losing 1. Overall position we finished 2nd out of 12.

Yr3/4 Arthog Outreach Centre

Our Yr3/4 Went to Arthog Outreach Centre in Wellington for some Team Building activities and to try out new things such as Rock Climbing and the Obstacle course.
