On Wednesday, Year 1 were lucky enough to have a visit from author Sarah Griffiths who shared her story ‘Finding Stones for Grandma’. The children all loved listening to the story, and they really enjoyed the meditation session that Sarah led afterwards. Such a relaxing way to begin our day!

This week Year 1 had a visit from Veolia for a recycling workshop. We learnt all about what could be recycled, and what these things could be turned into once they had been recycled. We enjoyed listening to the story ‘Munch and the Funny Tummy’, and found out why it is important only to recycle the correct things.
