It is fantastic to see how enthusiastic Year 5 are about making their balloon-powered vehicles. Today is about starting their making process and building the main body of the vehicle. Our children are very excited about finalising their designs tomorrow and racing their vehicles. What a fantastic project!

Through role-play, Year 5 attempted to see what it felt like to be a child in a poorer area of India making paper bags for money. Afterwards, they spoke eloquently about the task highlighting how unfair the world is for children relying upon this to earn money for their families.

We were extremely proud of all of our Year 5 children, during Sports Day, today. You all demonstrated excellent resilience and teamwork. You’ve done yourselves proud.  

Year 5 have really enjoyed investigating how different shapes are affected by water resistance this morning. What a brilliant start to the week! Keep it up!
