Forest school and PE

This Wednesday, the children have got the following lessons:

Base one- PE

Base two- Forest schools

We look forward to another half term of fun being active and learning in nature.

Owl Ice Cream!

As part of our work on the Gruffalo, the children have had a go at making and tasting owl ice cream!
We followed a recipe and weighed out the ingredients. The children used their strong muscles to whisk the mixture until it turned from a liquid, into a solid.
We then froze the ice cream and enjoyed it as a treat on Friday. Everyone agreed it was absolutely delicious!

They have already been very excited to take part in activities such as cut and stick porridge, retelling the story using puppets, writing sorry letters to the three bears, making and tasting porridge, building chairs for the three bears and a gummy bear science experiment.
