Welcoming Apley Wood Primary into the REAch2 Academy Trust! – REAch2 Academy Trust

We have had a completely new IT and phone system so please understand if we are not responding as quickly as we used to whilst we become used to the new way of working.  I have had some feedback that the answerphone system isn’t working so we have had this checked.  It is working, but it will only activate after 20 seconds, so please hang on and let the number ring until it clicks in if you want to leave a message.

The new phone number is 01952 980190

The new admin email is admin@apleywoodprimary.org

The absence line is absence@apleywoodprimary.org

The old phone number will not work and we do not have access to the previous taw email anymore so please do not use these.  Our contact details have also been updated on the website.

Some of our policies will change over this half term as we adopt Reach2 policies.  I will notify you of any changes and update the policies on the website when they happen.

Headteacher’s Message (01.03.2024)

A huge well done to Year 6 this week.  Those in Arthog have demonstrated resilience and maturity in facing new experiences and challenges and those in school have also demonstrated amazing team work and collaboration.

Our attached advisor has been in school again this week, this time conducting a music deep dive with Mrs Hindle.  She was very impressed with the strong music curriculum that we have now developed in school and our children were fantastic in demonstrating their skills in lessons and talking to her with such enthusiasm about music in school. We are very pleased with how our music offer is widening and developing and have high ambitions for music education at Apley Wood Primary in the future.
