Headteacher’s Message (10.05.2024)

Huge congratulations to our Y3/4 football team who played brilliantly in the final yesterday at AFC Telford.  They put in a fantastic effort and enjoyed the amazing experience.  Well done to Year 2 who have completed their pedestrian training earlier in the week.  They were brilliant and listened carefully Our Year 3 children also had a great day at Wroxeter this week, I have received so many positive comments about their behaviour on the visit.

Good luck to our Year 6 for their SATS next week.  They are working so hard this year, I know they are going to do their best and take the experience in their stride.  If they are coming to school for 8.30am for the soft start to the day/breakfast snacks, Base 8 and Base 15 can enter through Base 8 door and Base 7 can enter through their usual door.

Well done to everyone who has received a Headteacher Award this week:

George M, Zoey H, Holly H, Nikolaos D, Ioana G, Luke-James S, Jake H, Mimi A, Brooke P, Edward M, Harper W, Ollie B, Base 7, Qais S, Millie F, Logan L, Jeevan T, Aiden E, Esmai D, Peyton E, Harrison W, Edward B, Joseph P, Base 11.

Wishing you a lovely weekend.

Headteacher’s Message 03.05.24

We were offered a great opportunity by West Mercia Police this week.  Some of our children got the chance to trial ‘Top Dog,’ a new game being launched by the police.  They also had opportunity to meet some of the Police Dogs who are the stars of the game!  A huge thank you to West Mercia Police, for choosing us to take part and for the great feedback about the high standards of behaviour the children demonstrated.

Well done to the children who took part in the swimming gala this week.  It was a new experience for many of them and they were brilliant!

Headteacher’s Message (26.04.2024)

Another great week in school.  We started with a brilliant assembly from our safeguarding squad, with a focus on well being, being happy and how to get support when you need it. Have a look at the link below to find out more.

Outstandingly Happy

We were very excited to celebrate Earth Day this week.  Every year group completed different activities learning about sustainability.  Fouad and Alexander from Year 3, were so inspired by Earth Day, they also went above and beyond by choosing to do some litter picking at break times to look after our school environment and the wildlife that live in our grounds. Thank you to Miss Dovydaitis for organising our Earth Day activities.

A huge well done to our Aquasplash team from Y3/4 who came first in their competition!  What a fantastic effort!

Some of our policies have been amended this week to reflect those of Reach2.  The Attendance policy, Complaints policy and Child Protection Policy have been reviewed and are available on our website.

Well done everyone who has received a Headteacher Award this week, I am very proud of you:
