Operation Sceptre Art Competition

West Mercia Police are holding an art competition for schools as part of Operation Sceptre. They are asking children to design a poster. Details for the theme for each age group are as follows:

Age 4-8: Design a poster about The Police and Safety.

Age 8-11: Design a poster with a slogan or artwork with the theme of ‘Anti knife crime’.

The prizes are £50 in vouchers to the winner and £25 in vouchers to the runner up of each age group. The winning art work will be displayed at Malinsgate Police Station initially, then around the borough with partner agencies.

If your child is interested in entering the competition, their design should be on a piece of A4 paper (please ask your child’s teacher if you would like a blank piece), and write their name, school and age on the back. All entries should be returned to school by Monday 6^th November so that we can get them back before the closing date.
